014

I'm planning on testing out a new schedule next week. Our brains are habitual creatures -- structure is good for it, like a scaffold.

Time -- so important. (Maybe that's why I study time perception?) I want to have enough time to do all my work, have a kick-a** senior project, to get a job that I'd be really excited to work on, and hang out with friends, work on a writing project, and have a fun-filled semester to boot. WHEW!

...it does sound kind of impossible doesn't it?

Proposed typical day's schedule:

  • 7:30 to 8:00 - Wash-up/shower
  • 8:00 to 8:30 - Breakfast
  • 8:30 to 11:30 - Study/write
  • 11:30 to 12:30 - Class
  • 12:30 to 1:00 - Lunch
  • 1:00 to 2:30 - Class
  • 2:30 to 4:00 - Study
  • 4:00 to 6:00 - Class
  • 6:00 to 11:30 - Dinner, guitar and music, chill with friends

Obviously this is generalized, since my course schedule differs between days, but as a general guideline, it's excellent. Since it requires me to be up at 7:30am, allotting for 7 hrs of sleep, it means I need to be in bed by...12:30pm. That's somewhat early for the average college student, but I guess for a weekday it really isn't that unreasonable.

Also, it is insanely cold outside. This is how I felt after less than 10 minutes in the cold:

That is all.
